Santiago Calatrava and CENTRUM Gruppe plan a high-rise development on the Tuchtinsel in Düsseldorf
• The design envisages an elegant tower with a height of 129 meters and around 40,000 square meters of gross floor area
• The new building is planned in close coordination between the property owners, the city and the high-rise advisory board
• CENTRUM Group takes on project development
• Construction is expected to start between 2024 and 2027

Pope Francis appoints Calatrava as a member of the Pontifical and Insigne Academy of Fine Arts and Letters
This honor is the latest of a series of prestigious accolades for Dr. Calatrava. Among the prizes and recognitions he has received, he has been awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts of 1999, the National Architecture Prize of 2005 and the European Architecture Prize of 2015.
